Many people have I seen and met-
Many seen,
Some met,
Few me's.
Friendship gets fast built with commonalities-
Life experiences or likes
Interest or ideology
Level of perspective
Yea, common faith too!
Yet rare is, all present in one man!
Not even possible, methought,
Until I met you!
If those few hours of candid chat had a pair of eyes,
They saw my real me-
My real essence expressing itself fully.
I never knew a man can be so me!
I salute the years of life you've lived-
Those years of struggles and silenced drops!
These tempestuous storms will eventually fade.
Keep focused on the Lighthouse,
Keep navigating,
To have a safe entry to the Harbour.
At the Coast of Success,
Yes, at that Coast,
With mixed feelings
You'll oftentimes recall all these 'salty waters'
And proudly call them "my life experiences".
